Review David Sanborn feels he owes some of his latest album's success to a new recording process: doing it at home. The alto saxophonist recorded the majority of Inside at his New York City loft. "It allowed me a certain amount of freedom," Sanborn says. "I could record when I felt like it, and not have to be rushed about the whole process. I've learned as a musician, you have to kind of ambush yourself psychologically - trick yourself into saying, 'This is just a demo.'
