It Ain't over: A Film About Life and Death - 8494

A Story of Hope Ed's Story is a new 7-part short film series featuring pastor and author Ed Dobson. Ten years ago doctors diagnosed Dobson with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and gave him 2-5 years to live, most of which he was told would be in a disabled state. Dobson's journey since then has been one of remembering that life isn't over until it's over and sincerely thanking God for every new morning. He spent most of his life preaching sermons, but this film series is not a series of sermons. These films are about Ed's journey and Ed's struggles. Sometimes, he admits, he's done well with the struggle, other times, not so well. Ed's powerful insights and wisdom will encourage anyone facing difficulties in their own lives. "All of us know our days are numbered, but until we're given that number, very few of us give it any thought," Dobson says. "But if I had laid down ten years ago, I would have missed out on so many things."
