The smooth R&B tracks are offset by ferocious hip-hop grooves, creating a constantly shifting scene of alternating moods. Just as sentimentality hits its peak with Case's "Missing You," things are seriously shaken up by Method Man's "Even If." Sometimes the extremes seem a but much. Do Brian McKnight fans want to share time with Sisqo (featuring Foxy Brown) and Eminem (here with Redman), and vice versa? This may be a case where hearing it all in the context of the movie would help listeners make the less-than-obvious connections.
