Through her contacts from Buena Corporation, Amor becomes aware of Claudia's reservations about her, but this does not stop Amor from pursuing her plans. During this time, Angelo discovers Amor's connection to David and reports it to Eduardo, who is working with investigators to find out who is behind the assassination attempt. And when Eduardo learns that his right-hand man was involved in the plot, Eduardo orders his immediate arrest, only to change his mind when David reveals that Eduardo is his only hope of saving Amor from being blinded by her vengeance. Claudia takes her sweet time chiding Yna and her family about the favors they have been receiving from Angelo. This gesture from Claudia becomes Yna's last straw; she and her parents quit their jobs in Casa Corazon and Buena Corporation to avoid clashing with Claudia. Distance soon becomes a problem for Yna and Angelo, especially with Bea in Angelo's periphery. As Amor continues playing mind games with Claudia, the latter deems it necessary to silence Diego, a task that she passes to Caloy. Meanwhile, with the campaign period in Punta Verde kicking off, Eduardo, who is gunning for his second term as the province's governor, gets his hands full with events and programs for publicity.
